Well if you read my last post I was pondering an e-mail I received that the first step to being financially responsible is to get up and start your day right and take a shower and get dressed. I am usually up every morning around 5:30am but I never get a shower in until well after noon time. So this morning (even though it was dark and rainy) I decided to take a shower and get dressed. I have already seen evidence that I am probably more productive. I have made my grocery list, eaten breakfast, gotten some computer work in, and will be ready to leave the house soon for grocery shopping. I guess in that sense I am way ahead of the game because if I had not showered I would not be able to leave early to go grocery shopping. And I learned from the Saving Advice Grocery Shopping Quiz the best time to grocery shop is first thing in the morning. *LOL*
I will continue to give this a try and let you know how it is going for me.
Shower = Productive = Debt Free

Why frugal? In the beginning because I had to be (courtesy of massive debt), then because I needed to be (rebuilding my finances in the face of retirement), and now because I want to be.
I really enjoy the game of "beating the system" by efficient money management and aggressive thrift. Living comfortably and bountifully for less is the best revenge.
