I have tried all day to get myself organized and it just feels like I am climbing a mountain and no where near the top.
To save money I make my own curtains, kids clothes, and quilts, blankets, crib sets to sell.
I am able to get great deals on material because I usually only buy it at yard sales. But there is just not enough time in the day to get everything done. Am I really saving myself money or am I just under valueing my time. It would be so much easier and less time to just go to Walmart and buy clothes instead of making them.
What is my time really worth? I am saving money by doing everything myself but my days are long and my nights are short.
Just a thought....or two.
How much is your time worth?

So teach your kids to sew!I think I would sew the curtains & purchase the clothes at walmart. You can still make clothes for easter etc.. I have a friend who can sew & she sews halloween costumes for her kids every year. An of course she mends clothes & thats about all she has time for.I see in your description that you have my dream job.I always wanted to do that. Ive wrote lots of articles too.An one of these days I will send one in. I see you are a coupon person.I subscribe to refundcents & it saves me loads of time & money.I cant do all the rebates etc. since I have 4 kids but it helps me streamline what I want to buy.I enjoyed your clubmom article.looking forward to reading your blog.
